DevOps Engineer

Skills Required :

• Strong experience with Grafana for data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Proficiency in Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.
• Hands-on experience with Loki and Promtail for log aggregation and management.
• Expertise in Golang for backend development and scripting.
• Solid understanding of Shell scripting for automation and system management.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues in monitoring and logging systems.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Golang.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems using Golang.
• Configure and manage AWS resources, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of applications.
• Implement DevOps practices for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Create and maintain APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Understand and apply design principles to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Document architectural designs, system configurations, and codebases for future reference.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimization to enhance application performance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in web development, AWS, and DevOps.
• Identify and fix software bugs and issues.
• Write and maintain documentation for code and applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

• Proven experience working with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Promtail in production environments.

• Hands-on experience with Golang and Shell scripting for system automation and backend development.

• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

• Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to system performance and reliability.
